About Us
We are a small growing business set in Aberdeenshire, North East Scotland,. I began this journey through my love of dogs. Owning four dogs myself we often had a number of collars and leads on order but living so rural I wanted something practical, colourful and MATCHY! I found Biothane and fell in love with how strong, waterproof and durable it is. It suits all of our dogs large and small and most importantly, it is so easy to clean. With my passion for dogs and the love and enjoyment I had making collars, I knew I needed to expand. Talia's Tails was named after my heart and soul dog and she's with me every step of the way in this exciting journey. This small business has grown so much and the returning customers have made this experience amazing. A huge thank you to both returning and new customers.
Product Care
To get the very best from our products, it is essential you take care of your Biothane gear. Biothane may be durable but unfortunately, is not chew proof! Please keep your products away from unattended dogs at all times.
Biothane is a fully waterproof material and is very easy to upkeep. To clean it, simply wash with dish soap and water, then rinse thoroughly. For best results, wipe it down with a dry cloth to maintain its pristine condition. Enjoy the long-lasting benefits of Biothane!

Biothane holds up well in most conditions but it is recommended that is isn't stored outside or in direct sunlight to avoid possible colour fading and cracking.

If your dog is a regular salt water visitor and loves the beach then we recommend a good rinse clean after your products have been near seawater or salt water to reduce the risk of rust. The best two hardware items with minimal rusting are Stainless Steel and Brass. These are our recommendations if your pet is an absolute beach babe!

Black powder coated hardware is our least visually, long lasting product, whilst very beautiful and looks fantastic with most colours, as it is powder coated it does easily wear. We are not responsible for the wear of black hardware products. To view our hardware information please click

Harsh chemicals should be avoided on ALL materials and hardware but most specifically the HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) collars. Do not soak, heat or use any addional chemicals on these collars. HTV collars are expected to last up to one year with regular wear however some do last much longer depending on usage and upkeep of the products.

Product Turnaround
Our aim for product turn around is around fourteen to twenty one days from the payment of your order however, we will dispatch items within 24 hours if current stock is available to do so.

Imported UV prints will be pending order date. We offer import prints every quarter which means four times a year custom prints will be ordered. For more information please see our Import Prints Products. If there is a significant amount of orders during one quarter we may add additional import dates.
